Torsion spring
orsion springs are helical springs working by torque. They produce angular deformation under load and rotate back to their original position once force is removed. Precisely coiled from high-carbon steel or stainless steel, they provide even torque and good fatigue resistance. Custom arm angles and sizes are available. Commonly applied in hinges, latches, flip structures and reset mechanisms for hardware, automation and Pilates accessories. Do not over-twist to prevent premature failure.
