Compression spring
Compression springs are open-coil helical springs. They store elastic energy under axial compression and bounce back to original length once pressure is released. Precisely coiled from high-carbon steel or stainless steel, they deliver stable force and excellent fatigue resistance, with optional ground flat ends. Custom wire sizes, spring rates and end types are available. Widely used for buffering, pushing and resetting in Pilates apparatus, hardware and industrial machinery. Avoid over-compression for longer service life.
